A set of sessions designed for non-specialist teachers of Religious Studies and Personal Development who want to improve their subject knowledge and confidence.

Delegates are not expected to have prior knowledge on any topic.

Sessions will include an overview of the subject content, best practice for delivery, signposting to other sources of support and an informal Q&A session for delegates. Sessions will include:

• Religion and worldviews

• Relationships, health and sex education

• Genocide and the Holocaust

• Mental well being and drugs education

Sessions:

All sessions will take place from 3:30pm - 4:30pm via Google Meet on the following dates:

• Session 1 - Monday 9th October 2023

• Session 2 - Monday 20th November 2023

• Session 3 - Monday 22nd January 2024

• Session 4 - Monday 26th February 2024
