What was the Holocaust, how do I teach it and why does it matter?

Outwood Grange Academies Trust has partnered with the UCL Centre for Holocaust Education to offer staff a full day of in-person CPD workshops.

During this CPD, colleagues will deepen their subject knowledge and understanding and receive training in how to use bespoke research-informed classroom materials.

The day will include sessions on the following themes:

  • Who were the six million?

  • Exploring Jewish life before the Holocaust

  • What happened to the Jews of Europe?

  • The Holocaust and victims of Nazi persecution

  • Being Human? Choices, behaviours and the Holocaust

Colleagues who attend can take other CPD modules offered by UCL online during the Spring and Summer terms. Colleagues from all disciplines are invited to attend.

This session will take place from 9.00am - 3.00pm at the Outwood Institute of Education on Wednesday 31st January 2023.
