Managing Medication in an Educational Setting - Level 2

This CPD is aimed at all management and staff who are responsible for supporting pupils with medical conditions who need medication administered.

The course will instruct delegates to understand the responsibilities and procedures needed to ensure the right policies are adopted.

Content - Delegates will receive instruction on the classification of medicines, legislation and guidelines on the safe management of medication in schools and the best practice currently sought. This also includes training in anaphylaxis signs and symptoms and a competency assessment in the safe administration of Adrenaline auto-injectors.

Sessions:

All sessions will take place at the Outwood Institute of Education from 9.00am - 4.30pm on the following dates:

  • Session 3 - Tuesday 11th June 2024

Cost:

This course is for internal OGAT staff only. The cost is £195 (excl. VAT) per person.

If you are unable to attend an event the following charges will apply:

Less than 7 days prior to the event - 100% charge

Less than 14 days prior to the event - 75% charge

Less than 28 days prior to the event - 50% charge

Cancellation more than 28 days prior to the event will be refundable. If you are able to send another colleague in your place, we will transfer the booking to a colleague with no administration charge.

Please note that all prices quoted exclude VAT, which will be applied at 20%
